The Federation of Ghana Medical Laboratory Students Hold Their Maiden Labprenuership Seminar

FG-MELSA, the mother body for all Medical Laboratory Students across the country has organized a Laboratory Entrepreneurship Seminar on the campus of one of its member association institutions Royal Ann College of Health, Kumasi-Ghana (RACOH). This seminar which had the theme “THE STARTUP; BECOMING YOUR OWN BOSS” was very much anticipated by the students of the association and even attracted other sister Medical Laboratory Science Students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), Garden City University College (GCUC) and the hosting institution RACOH which was their maiden edition of hosting a national program by the Federation. Labprenuership being a breakthrough seminar for Laboratory Science Students recorded a high regional attendance of 389 students and resource persons, out of whom 292 were female participants. TekTalk Chairman And SRC Financial Secretary Swerve Parliamentary Review Committee For The Second Time

5th Anniversary of TekTalk The KNUST SRC TekTalk Chairman and the SRC Financial Secretary both failed to show up in the two meetings set by the Parliamentary select committee to review their performance for the 5th Anniversary of the TekTalk program. The two have  been said to have provided a letter of excuse to absent themselves from the meeting, giving reasons of emergency situations. The chairman for the 2019 TekTalk program Mr. Adomako Nyantakyi Emmanuel aka Vholics on both occasions presented a letter to absent himself from the meeting to review his performance on the poorly organized event in the history of the program. The SRC Financial Secretary too couldn’t show up for the first meeting referencing the select committee on the failure on their part to serve him a letter. NUGS KNUST Local Set For An Outreach Tomorrow At Afua Kobi High School

The Executives of the National Union of Ghanaian Students - KNUST Local are fully prepared to embark on an outreach program at the Afua Kobi Senior High School early Saturday, 23rd November. The focus of the program has been broadened to considerably include students who want to complete their high school program successfully thus students in the secondary education cycle. Also, it captures students who have been unsuccessful in senior high school or have dropped out as well as students involved with drugs, criminal activity and sexual abuse. Any student who has discipline problems including those facing mental or physical health issues such as anxiety, depression or other medical problems among others. The outreach’s target participants are expected to be younger students in the Secondary educational cycle.
