KNUST SRC Opens Magnificent Office Edifice and New Bus Stop

The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has opened a new office at the main Kumasi campus in an effort to rebrand and facilitate all activities of the executives. The Vice-Chancellor of the university professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso commissioned the ultramodern edifice on Friday, July 7, 2020. Situated at the ‘non-re’ area on campus, the office will be the center for all administrative duties of the Council and has office spaces allocated to all the principal executives of the SRC. The facility also contains a 24-hour study area for students. Speaking in an interview with  Focus News  during the commissioning, the KNUST SRC president, Mr. Adu Baah Charles Jnr said his administration was glad to succeed in putting up a student leadership centre as was promised during his campaign to become the SRC president for the 2019/2020 academic year. “I’m happy today to see this facility come into reality. First Year Land Economy Student Gone Missing

News reaching the desk of KNUSTTigerEye media inc. alleges that, Adams Kaara Sherifa, a first year Land Economy student went missing since 8th July, 2020, the incident happened after Miss Kaara told her parents she was going to search for a hostel in plan of the next academic year on the campus of KNUST despite the dreadful and deadly Coronavirus Disease which left academic activities into uncertainties. She had since not returned home and efforts to reach her on both calls and SMS proves futile. Miss Kaara resides in Manpong of the Ashanti  Region of Ghana with her parents. She is about 18 years of age, 1.6m in height approximately with a chocolate skin tone.
