KNUST: Former SRC WOCOM set to unveil “Women Empowerment Achievements” of the Akufo Addo led government this Friday

  Rosemond Obeng, People’s Mother Rosemond Obeng, popularly known as “The people’s mother” who once was the Women’s Commissioner for the KNUST SRC and politically active for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) which won her recognition as deputy national co-ordinator for TESCON, the student organisation of the New Patriotic Party in 2018. In the wake of the moment when the people of the Fourth Republic of Ghana prepare to elect government for the next four years on 7 December , the attention is falling increasingly on female leaders – women who continue to script their name in history with their enormous achievements to Ghana. She in her capacity as the National coordinator for the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) is prepared to give names to the achievements of the ruling party on women empowerment which seems to have little attention.
