Speaking with KNUST TigerEye Media, she averred that the “New narrative” is for everyone men and women alike it’s span is on every stage of the process needed to execute world-class thought leadership that advance both social and commercial goals, drive meaningful conversations and stake out new intellectual territory. “It’s about time we had an examination into our thoughts and methods of motivations and success in order to do more than we have”, she concluded.

SRC Parliamentary Council approves the formation of UNRC; new constituencies have been formed

The 12th KNUST SRC Parliament has at their first sitting of the 2nd session approved the new UNION OF NON RESIDENTIAL CONSTITUENCIES (UNRC) constitution which sought to clearly demarcate and show boundaries between constituencies. The formation of the UNRC will help solve the many issues of the Non-Residential caucuses as it becomes difficult knowing who does what and who is who. Following this, it has been granted for the creation of new constituencies for this year's electoral process which implies the addition of two new members to parliament. Rt. Hon Christian Anderson, Speaker of Parliament KNUST SRC This means that we now have seven (7) constituencies under the non-re caucus three (3) more than the previous number for the caucus in parliament. We now have: 1. Campus 2. Ayeduase North 3. Ayeduase South 4. Bomso-Ahinsan 5. Kentinkrono-Ayigya 6. Kotei Gyinyase 7. EYAKO DONKOR KROTI DECLARES INTENT TO RUN FOR KENTINKRONO MP

Eyarko Donkor Kroti Eyako Donkor Kroti, a top Non-Residential caucus aspirant has officially announced his intentions to run for the Kentinkrono MP to represent the student body who reside in such areas. One of Eyako's great concerns, is the shuttle's lateness to the bus stop to pick students, and how early it closes, making students walk or late for their 8am classes, and depriving them  also of the shuttles when their classes are extended to a little late in the evening. He then calls on the SRC President, Samuel Sesah to lobby in behalf of these students to the transport commisioner and other stakeholders, to deliberate on such and come out with better approaches as he believes strongly, the SRC is a working one. He however commends the SRC for being able to lobby for lot's of opportunities to make living on campus better, but still believes they can do better. Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa requests for donors for her “Donate a Book Drive Project”

Tiwaa Amankwaa Benedicta a top aspirant in the 2021 KNUST SRC General Secretary race has started a donate a book drive project. A project that seeks to keep students who are less privileged in the habit of learning and reading all the time to help their cognitive skills. Speaking with a representative from the KNUST TigerEye Media, Miss Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa a third year Geography and Rural Development student mentioned that all students or persons who have any book who have less use for it should contact her in order for it to be donated to some selected schools to make good use out of it. Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa She stated that reading is a good habit and helps the individual learn more about a lot and themselves and that everyone would cultivate the habit of doing so. She further called on any benevolent donor out there to support her make a meaningful impact on society by donating even just a 1 cedi to a mobile money account (0591728934) to fund this project.
