NUGS KNUST Local Outreach 2019
The local NUGS Secretariat at KNUST led by Master Fred Parker, held an outreach event this weekend at the Afua Kobi Ampem Senior High School at “Trabuom” in the Ashanti Region to champion the course of students and also defending them in the collective interest of all.

On Saturday the 23rd November, a delegation from KNUST Local NUGS secretariat left the campus to organize a symposium for the students of Afua Kobi Ampem SHS as part of the associations efforts to encourage and teach the younger ones some requisite skills in order for them to be successful on the academic ladder. A well organized and planned outreach by the outreach chair Master Akosah Brimpong Emmanuel with supervision from the Programs and Project Officer, Master Richard Adu received tons of applauds and admirations from many as the program run smoothly with less hitches.

The program was graced by the presence of the District Chief Executive, a representative from the District Director of Education,  Mrs Mavis Owusu the headmistress of the school and some other notable dignitaries among who were Professors and Doctorate degree holders from the best University in West Africa - KNUST who gave powerful speeches to encourage the young ladies to be proactive and develop a winning mindset that wouldn’t let them slip as they move up on the growth and maturity ladder to face their own set targets. The delegation went with a national NUGS Officer in the person of Master Kelvin Gyimah who is the National NUGS Programs and Projects coordinator, the KNUST SRC women’s commissioner Miss Sandra Esinam Sosu-Dees? Henry Adams the President of the Oforikrom National service personnels

It was a beautiful scene and one to remember as we await the next program of the Local NUGS secretariat. Some pictures below;
