Ninnette Bediako  Quite a lot of diverse rebuttals and responses from different forces and students populace was met after the release of the ISRC Instrument/Act by the SRC president; Mr. Adu Baah Charles, which said law received his assent on the 3rd of July 2020. I wrote to address the issue which held a lot of illegalities and a clear example of disregard for the democracy of the SRC. As issues arose after the release of the notice, one, Mr. Boakye Dankwah Asare, brought an application for interim injunction before the SRC Judicial Committee, to restrain the SRC president from enforcing the ISRC Act 2020. The night of Sunday, 5th July 2020, was a night of strong legal banter and debate between the applicant’s counsel and the legal team of the SRC.  After almost four hours of heated debate from both sides of the matter, the panel of five (5), ruled unanimously in favour of the applicant; Mr. Boakye Dankwah Asare.
