Absa Ghana Supports KNUST’s SONSOL Project

In line with the Vice-Chancellor’s vision to support one needy student with one laptop dubbed ‘SONSOL PROJECT’, Absa Bank Ghana Limited has donated Fifty (50) brand-new Lenovo laptop computers to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The Corporate Affairs Director, Nana Essilfuah Boison stated that the presentation was in fulfilment of a promise made when her outfit visited the Vice-Chancellor. According to her, Barclays now Absa Bank has been a great partner of KNUST over the years. Absa Bank has a robust business continuity management to protect the needs of their stakeholders, hence, was in full support in providing learning tools to needy students. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson thanked Absa for making the first move in making her vision a reality.
