This year's vetting was an interesting one with a lot of expectation on the part of the Panel to scrutinise aspirants very well. With the vast experience the panelists have in student leadership, no aspirant was expected to have it easy. Indeed, all witnesses could testify that this panel was not a pushover, especially, the Women's Commissioner and Financial Secretary portfolios. It was during the General Secretaries that we witnessed the expression of wits. If one will be disappointed  by this vetting, it will certainly be on the Presidential aspirants because of the abrupt end the whole process came to. I must say both aspirants for the General Secretary portfolio were not bad. Issues of technicalities associated with the office were clarified very well. Samuel Sesah’s Vetting Disrupted by Unity Hall Affiliates

The members of the Unity Hall - Conti on Saturday morning 7th March disrupted the vetting process of Master Samuel Sesah, a fierce contender for the 2020 KNUST SRC polls scheduled for 3 weeks after they stormed the Great Hall whiles Samuel Sesah was on the floor being vetted by the seven (7) member panel empaneled by the KNUST SRC electoral commissioner Master Philip Ofori-Atta Following the series of disturbances, the vetting chair Master Duke Sasu asked Samuel Sesah and his running mate Master Morris Effah to move closer to the panel with just about some few feet in between they two parties. After several warnings and cautions from the EC and the vetting chairperson which were all ignored by the unity Hall boys the chair forced for the closure of the vetting of Master Samuel Sesah and Morris Effah which paved way for the candidate of the Unity Hall Master Rexford Bonney.
