Decision to exclude KNUST Freshmen from the impending SRC Elections Challenged in Court

ELECTION MEETING Not long ago, the Interim Electoral Commission Chairman made a proclamation that first year students would not be permitted to vote in the up coming KNUST SRC Elections but that decision has been challenged in the SRC Court Andrew Anokye Kyeremateng the interim EC for the student front in an interview with Focus FM’s John Essien aver that freshmen will not vote in the upcoming SRC Elections. Expectations have been rising as the interim electoral committee and the interim legal affairs commissioner have now both been dragged to court to face Master Clinton Deborah later today Saturday, 23rd January, 2021 exactly 7:30pm at the Law Faculty. It is expected that at the end of the court proceedings freshmen being included or excluded in the upcoming SRC elections will be resolved at the hearing.
