College Of Engineering Holds An Orientation Programme For Its New Faculty Members

The College of Engineering, KNUST, Kumasi has organised a day's induction ceremony for it's newly employed members of staff. The aim of the ceremony as per custom is to educate members on lectures and examination issues, developing careers in academics, and the nitty gritty of the University as an administrative system. Other discussions made included; social issues affecting new lecturers, researchers and administrative tips on beginning with a good note. Professor Mark Adom-Asamoah, Provost, College of Engineering Prof. Mark Adom-Asamoah, the provost of the college in his overview stated that, the induction ceremony was put together to enable the new fellows settle down quickly and get acclimatise into the University System. He added that the programme forms part of the mentorship programme at the College. He emphasised the need for mentees to interact frequently with the mentors who have been assigned to them. TESCON: Deputy Coordinator Launches Website to Project Nana Addo and his Achievements [People’s Mother]

Rosemond Obeng The former KNUST SRC Women’s Commissioner who has turned to be an astute politician is set to launch her website which seeks to project the achievements and accomplishments of the Nana Addo led government, giving special attention to women empowerment. People’s Mother as she’s affectionately called believes that Ghanaian women should show gratitude to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he has shown great commitment in empowering the masses of Ghana women as opposed to Former President Mahama who is now trying to do damage control by using a woman in his politicking to deceive Ghanaian women to make up for  being an unappealing candidate and also for his sins of being wicked to Ghanaian women, Ms. Rosemond Obeng, Deputy National TESCON cordinator and Former KNUST women’s Commissioner stated. She believes the launch of this website will bring to light the many things this government has done but gains little recognition. The launch will happen today exactly 7pm.
