*MY INDEPENDENCE DAY MESSAGE 🇬🇭* We will always remember the road to Ghana's Independence as a journey of many obstacles driven by purpose and determination from patriotic citizens like you and I who fought for the one thing they believed in - *Freedom*. Today, we celebrate Independence. Today, we remember the toils of our founding fathers whom we guiltily forget sometimes. Today, we celebrate the glory of freedom and we rejoice in the fact that freedom is for *everyone*. Today, as we raise high the national flag and see the black star, *Hope* for a better Ghana. Today, as we clad ourselves in national colors and sing aloud patriotic songs, let us take moments to reflect on them and not forget that we have long pledged to be loyal, hold the country in high esteem and above all, we pray for blessings for our homeland.
