BENEDICTA TIWAA AMANKWAA DONATES MASSIVELY TO LIGHT DARK PLACES OFF-CAMPUS

Benedicta and the Electrician Third year student of geography and rural development Miss Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa has donated 10 street bulbs and 2 complete set of street lights to darker places off-campus Off-campus security has always been a nemesis for students who find themselves at these places. It has been noted that most street bulbs off-campus do not function and as such leave most vantage points dark at night and unsafe for students to ply that route Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwah, SRC General Secretary Aspirant With exam being eminent for students, it becomes important for students to spend most of their time preparing adequately both day and night. At night, students complain of attacks that sometimes become deadly when returning from late night studies.  Benedicta Tiwaa, known for her benevolent acts made this donation to curb such inhumane acts of violence and assault and thievery at night time

JULIUS KWADWO ACHEAMONG DONATES TO COLLEGE OF SCIENCE LIBRARY and LEARNING COMMONS

Mr. Julius Kwadwo Acheampong, Presidential aspirant of the College of Science (SCISA) has donated stationery items to the Library and learning commons of the College of Science (SCISA) The items donated included fully filled dispenser bottles and disposable cups to the College of Science Library and the Learning Commons. According to him, this was one of the many ways he is will show his commitment and readiness in assisting to ease pressure on students, as they prepare for the end of semester examinations. An excerpt of a statement he posted on his status reads, "It is important to state that water is one of the very basic necessities of life. It's place of importance in our lives cannot be overemphasized". KNUST SRC BEGINS FIRST PHASE OF FREE NOSE MASK DISTRIBUTION ON CAMPUS

The Samuel Sesah-led administration has began the first phase of distribution of free nosemasks to students on KNUST Campus during this examination period. This initiative has been implemented through the SRC Health Office being spearheaded by Mr Rashid Mohammed Salim and his able deputy, Acheampong Derrick Kusi. Distribution begun today at the various examination centers across campus. In an interview with the SRC Health officers, they cited reasons that the initiative has been tailored as a part of health relief measures to aid sections of the student populace who for some reasons cannot afford nosemasks or are wearing a faulty during this exams period. For this and other reasons, nosemasks have been made available at the various examination centres to be given out to all students. This measure will run through subsequent days of this examination period.
