Read the full statement below: Dear President, The events that precede my penning down this letter are rather unfortunate and have saddened my heart. I wish to bring to your notice that some students have been unable to register their courses as a result of their inability to pay their school fees in full as well as issues with clearance. Jude Sabutey  KNUST SRC Presidential aspirant Jude Sabutey has advanced plans to hold an open forum on the state of the KNUST SRC this Thursday on one of the most resounding social media applications — Zoom On a flyer released by the camp of Jude Sabutey, the leading aspirant in the year’s election campaign has affirmed that he will engage the students of KNUST and voice his vision to the community for the electorates to understand the charge he has to keep. On his Twitter page, he asserted that in his usual conversation with students, he noticed the heavy gloom and unrest among most students. The general worry was they not being able to register for the mid semester examinations over school fees unpaid.

ABBAN picks MOHAMMED ALI as Running mate for KNUST SRC PRESIDENCY

Kevin Abban and Mohammed Ali KNUST SRC Aspirant Kevin Abban has chosen Mohammed Ali (Immediate Past Vice President) of the Faculty of Social Sciences to be his running mate, turning to a leading authority on the Voice for you agenda and making him the only Muslim person on the SRC presidential ticket. Mohammed Ali, who earlier on was Kevin Abban’s  opponent for the SRC President race, brings the political prowess of winning this year SRC election in KNUST while also personifying the diversity for all students. Abban’s selection ended a long search that was conducted almost entirely in secret. MICHAEL ABUAH GETS READY TO ANNOUNCE RUNNING MATE

The last pieces are in place for the announcement of SRC Presidential aspirant, Michael Abuah's vice presidential candidate. Abuah has reportedly made his choice and informed core members of his campaign team and an announcement could come sooner than we expect.  Michael Abuah describes his running mate as a competent student leader who is passionate about the SRC and is more than willing to join him deliver quality leadership that is based on experience and competence to the good people of KNUST. In a release by his communication team, they advice that the choice of a running mate must transcend constituency politicking, identity appeal and other political equations.  As the race to the SRC Presidency gets tighter and heated, we await the official announcement from the team.  TigerEye will follow keenly on whoever will be unveiled as the right hand man of the former SCISA President.
