DELALI FORGIVE PROMISES BUSINESS EMPOWERMENT FOR WOMEN IN KNUST

Delali Setugah Forgive, SRC Women’s Commissioner Aspirant

KNUST SRC’s Leading Women’s Commissioner aspirant Miss Delali Setugah Forgive has promised the women of KNUST an empowerment in their businesses when elected with her Women in Business policy

Within the context of limited employment and other opportunities in the labor market, the development of entrepreneurial activity is seen as having a key role in this environment she stated. This is because entrepreneurship can drive innovation and competition, and act as a catalyst for structural transformation of an economy and, consequently, a reduction in poverty.

In this light, Miss Delali Forgive averred her commitment to nourishing the business ideas of all women in KNUST by equipping them with the requisite entrepreneurship skill. She added that the Women welfare she seeks encapsulates the serving of women interest, building their capacity and exposing them to opportunities to standardize their living.

The women in business policy would explore and exploit the business ideas of most women by introducing them to entrepreneurship education.
