WISë INTERNSHIP HUB - MARY ACHEAMPONG INITIATIVE

Mary Acheampong justifies why there is a need to establish the *WISë INTERNSHIP HUB*

After our 4 years stay on campus for our degree and a year of National Service, ask yourself how you can acquire a decent job without been asked how much experience you have before being employed.

In recent times, emerging institutions demand one to acquire a minimum of 2 years of work experience before they can be employed.

This work experience issue has become one of the major cankers affecting intellectuals of today and I believe this is the time to help resolve it.

HOW DO WE GET THAT EXPERIENCE?

HER SOLUTION

✨*Establishment of WISë INTERNSHIP HUB*

Lobby and allocate companies, industries, and state agencies to every department in the College.

This will help create the necessary space in these institutions for SCISANs especially females to have their internships.

This opportunity paves way for males and females to have access to internship slots in these institutions.

This will help reduce the stress we go through when in search of institutions to intern with but rather help us gain the needed experience as well as prepare us for the job market after school.

Let's make it happen, WISë - The future is ours.
