.  Reuben Blakpa, KSBSA President Hopeful A top notch presidential aspirant, Reuben Blakpa for the KNUST Business School has finally picked up forms to officially cement his position to contest for the president of KSBSA's 2021 elections.  He picked up his forms on the 18th May,2021. He said, he's determined to do the best for KSBSA is still at large, he hopes his fervent cries and commitment will yield results and the trust of the KSB students for them to hand him the mandate to steer the affairs of the association after the tenure of Master Lawrence.   Master Akwasi Oduro, the current general secretary, and an aspirant for the presidency postion of the university hall, has purchased an art painting from one of his constituents. In an interview with the KNUST Tigereye media, he disclosed that the creative art community in the school gets little or no attention from the stakeholders of the university. And by this, his decision is to bring it to the notice of management to steer affairs for these students. And with the particular painting he purchased, the student who made the painting, disclosed that it depicts how humanity may end up if our covid protocols are totally ignored.    I am Emmanuel Aryeetey, a second year student pursuing Business Administration (Marketing and International Business) at the KNUST Obuasi campus. I am an hopeful  aspirant for the SRC FINANCIAL SECRETARY in this year's ( 2021) general election.I believe that, the  voices and concerns  of the students must be prioritize by the university's administration. A way of enhancing this very goal, I thought it wise to provide a means by donating a SUGGESTION BOX to the University's administration in Obuasi through the incumbent SRC executives led by Master Joshua Ntim Gyimah.   A third year student from the department of History and Political Studies under the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, CoHSS, ABIGAIL AMOAH has officially declared her intent of running for the Office of CoHSS  General Secretary. She run for the same Office last year, but could not make victory, but she says she has come again with an unabated purpose this year. Abigail believes the mandate of a General Secretary is not only limited to keeping records of minutes and giving out information, but what the person is bringing to the table for the welfare of the people should be considered, and that we should  move our scope "BEYOND THE BASICS" For this reason, she's soliciting for support from the good people of CoHSS to rally behind her as she sets on the journey to pursue Victory, so enable her contribute  her quota of service to the people of College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

  Honourable Wooden Daniel Ocansey, CANaRSA EC Chairperson has held a press briefing to address certain issues concerning the upcoming elections, following the press briefing by the SRC Electoral Commission. As stated clearly in the college's constitution, new set of executive members, all portfolios inclusive are to be elected by students of the college through secret voting. The CANaRSA constitution's electoral rules still apply and these rules have been pasted on all notice boards in the college to enable all members have access to it as there will be no contemplation on the withdrawal of any candidate who shall be found guilty of any electoral offence.  The election schedule for this year has been released and pasted on the notice boards and all social media platforms of the College.
