ARTICLE: The Benedicta Factor a Scare to Many? Leave the innocent Lady ALONE!

Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa, SRC General Secretary aspirant

“Minds are like flowers; they open only when the time is right.” – Stephen Richards

People usually disregard the need for open mindedness in our political spheres but it’s about time people understood the importance of having an open mind in these heated times. This year’s election will be one of the promising ones looking at the number of boots on the ground and the involvement of some “political gods”.

Maturity should manifest in our politics and the old unscrupulous acts should be avoided completely. Student politics is simmering many cherish and do all sort of things to attain that power but extreme measures should be barred. Run a clean politics, if the people  buy into your ideas you have their votes. What has happened at the Unity Hall - Conti is something that can be attributed to a May 9 disaster in student politics

On 14th May 2021, a group of polluted minds descended on one fine aspirant in this year’s Election. An aspirant many believe to have already won the race with her good heart and efforts and relentless attitude towards shaping the narrative of the KNUST SRC General Secretary role. Miss Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa was left heartbroken when she found out that her banners have been torn down by a particular camp positioning themselves as agents of distraction.

AFTER THE DESTRUCTION

It is worthy of note for everyone to be aware that 4 banners of Miss Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa the leading SRC General Secretary aspirant have been torn down by some assailants all in the name of dirty politics. Banners worth more money have been destroyed mercilessly just to keep her in the shadows something which will never happen as some of us are alive. Retaliation is for the weak, but natural justice is something worth more painful than anything.

This shameful act must be condemned on all fronts! Such nonsense must stop! If you believe your candidate is better face the election with all Courage! Weaker minds discuss people and it’s true. STOP DISCUSSING BENEDICTA and focus on your candidate. The “pull him down” attitude won’t work for you this time. This is a word of caution and advice to those weak brain possessed persons; do what is right. You will be judged on your deeds someday.

BEFORE THE DESTRUCTION

Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaa has done a lot of philanthropical works for almost all the community she finds herself in. She was recently appointed as a Board Member for Dreams of Africa Youth Change, a social organization that looks at changing the lives of many youths. She again channeling her ideas as an entrepreneur has been able to speak at many boot camps and other programs with the notable ones being Blakbods project here on KNUST campus. She also helped fix street lights on the streets of many off-campus roads which saw her name travel far. She’s also been involved in the study room plugs fixing of unity hall. And she is currently working on a Donate a book project which will help many young ones who don’t have enough to read to build themselves to the person they want to.

Such a person needs support to fulfill her vision and mission for such a great office. She deserves a chance but she doesn’t have a voice. I entreat all to support her and help her overcome her bully and show them that there’s always a better way of doing things.

Thank you
