Ibrahim Ali  Ibrahim Ali popularly known as President Ali who organized a Comm Skills tutorial for all freshmen of KNUST last weekend has stated that his Comm Skills tutorial which he organized a brought a resource person outside the school has yielded a lot of positive responses. Speaking with Sabrina Darko, an associate of the KNUST TigerEye Media Inc. he praised the tutorial and called it a success and that he has been receiving positive feedback from students concerning his efforts. He further went on to say that students should watch out for more of these.

Samuel Sesah Samuel Kweku Entsi Sesah, the immediate past President for the College of Science (CoS) who was defeated by Adu-Baah Charles (ABC) in last year’s SRC Elections has announced that he will be airing live a tutorial in one of KNUSTs basic courses for freshmen - Communication  Skills tonight on Focus Fm, 94.3MHz In an interview with our ace journalist Batiey Roger, he stated that the tutorial session would last for about 2 hours within the hours of 6:30pm and 9pm today. He further went on to state that, the tutorial will be geared towards the betterment of all first year students who will be writing a paper on this particular course. He went on to encourage students, especially freshmen to make time this evening to listen to the educative tutorial which will be aired live on their dial.

Michael Ampah and Erasmus Segbefia  The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has made yet another piece of Pan African Universities Debate Championship History. The win against 13 other African countries was their second final triumph in a row in the competition – making them the first university in West Africa to do so on more than one occasion. Since the inception of the tournament in 2008, only the University of Cape Town, South Africa had won two in a row; won in 2012 and 2013. The Pan African Universities Debate Championships is the biggest African inter-varsity debate tournament held every year. Ghanaian universities first participated in the PAUDC in 2012 with KNUST and the University of Ghana being the representatives from Ghana.
