MAVIS AKOLBILA, THE LEADING SRC WOCOM ASPIRANT RELEASES HER HEALTH POLICY*







Mavis Abangremah Akolbila who topped the SRC vetting for the WOCOM section has released her health policy and it's more centered on breast cancer. 

The incidence of breast cancer in Ghanaian women is about 76 per 1000 women. 


Higher than most part of our continent and even the world despite the continual effort made by several governments to remedy this situation.

Mavis has laid out her views on why this situation is so and has also suggested how she will make sure she aids in this fight against breast cancer in Ghana starting with females in KNUST. 



She promises to organize free breast screening and examination every single month for the females.

Not only that, the young lady seeks to equip our ladies with the necessary procedures one can undergo to self examine one's breast without any assistance from a medical expertise. "This is to help detect the early stage of breast cancer and it's incidence so as to start quick remedy to solve the situation", she stated. 



That apart, the health policy document from Mavis will make sure health seminars are organized from time to time to provide the nitty-gritties of good and healthy lifestyle for females and also the predicaments of living a life contrary to health cautions.
