UGDecides: Management Committee on 2021 UGSRC election summons Nana B, Asumadu and 12 others to appear

The 2021 University of Ghana Students Representative Council elections is far from over as the committee set up to address issues of irregularities and rigging in the election has served letters of summons to all stakeholders of the election and the 10 individuals who petitioned the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs.

Their summoning to appear before the committee is to help aid the committee in investigating matters of rigging and irregularities in many areas of the election.

The terms of reference of the committee also include the provision of recommendations as to how the election should go.

Many who witnessed the issues of the election are hoping that the committee will call for the rerun of the run-off phase whiles others are asking for a removal of the Electoral Commissioners, who were known to have perpetuated most of the shady dealings of the election.

The knustigereye team has sighted several letters of summons from the committee addressed to Samuel Amos Ofosu, Prince Asamadu, Alfred Aquah among others.

They are expected to aide in the investigations. The committee's membership are listed in this letter

Until the final findings and recommendations of the committee are commissioned and implemented, the 2021 UGSRC Presidential election still remains inconclusive.
