KEVIN ABBAN to HOST KAFUI DEY ON PUBLIC SPEAKING THIS SUNDAY


Kevin Abban, the Vice President of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Students Association - CANaRSA has announced a mega Public Speaking Session with popular star KAFUI DEY

A program to help students better their public speaking skills and boost their confidence is coming your way soon.

It is scheduled to begin on the 28th of March 2021. As public speaking is an essential part of everyday lives, series of public speaking sessions dabbed “Public speaking with Kevin Abban” comes your way this semester.

The program is designed to help students of KNUST become more confident and dynamic in public speaking. It will also present an opportunity to perfect the delivery techniques, speechwriting, and build a speech portfolio for the students.

The special guest for the session is Kafui Dey- former host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, a world-renowned speaker, broadcast journalist, author, moderator and public speaking coach.

The person hosting the program is Mr. Kevin Abban. He is a 3rd year student of Bsc. Natural Resource Management and is currently the vice president of CANARSA. As a debater and public speaker, he is passionate about imparting his knowledge for the benefit of all.

Students will be given relevant tips and advice on how to prepare and deliver speeches that command the audience’s attention.

The sessions will mainly cater for the following;

1. How to eliminate nervousness

2. How to speak with confidence

3. How to start a speech 

4. Becoming a better speaker

The good news is participants will also receive certificates and also gain access to KafuiDey’s bestselling e-books which reinforce the tips and techniques on public speaking.

The program will be streamed live on instagram and other campus media houses. It is scheduled to begin on Sunday, 28th March 2021 from 2pm to 3pm. Subsequent sessions will be held on 2nd, 4th and 5th April respectively.
