KNUST Collaborates with GCGL to Promulgate Socially-Driven Research.


The Managing Director of Graphic Communication Group Limited-GCGL, Mr. Ato Afful has revealed GCGL's commitment to publish research findings and ideas from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology that contributes to the development of the country. The Managing Director made that revelation when he paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Rita Akosua at the council chamber on the 28th October, 2020.

The Managing Director also supplicated to the University to submit its intellectual ideas to aid in the strategic planning of the nation. He acknowledged the institution for the more than a decade successful collaboration and wished to see more of such business relations. 
Mr. Ato Afful on behalf of GCGL officially congratulated Prof. Akosua Dickson on her appointment as the first female Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, and hoped her appointed will ginger young female to look up to occupying prestigious positions in the society.

Adding her voice to the conversation, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson stated that KNUST, as a leading Science and Technology institution for the past 69 years seeks to aggravate knowledge in various fields through relevant research, effective teaching and learning, entrepreneurship and community engagements. 
She cited that the research works of the institution is useless, if they remain on the shelves. Hence, her full support of GCGL's offer to publicise these research in quest of impacting lives in various communities. She further pledged the University's commitment to nurture and benefit the mutual relationship between the two leading institutions.
Other dignitaries present were the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo; Registrar, Mr. Andrew Kwasi Boateng; Senior Assistant Registrar, Mr. James Kwasi Oberko, Marketing Director GCGL, Franklin Sowah and News Editor, Mr. Vincent Kobina Asmah and Mr Daniel Kenu of GCGL, Kumasi.
