Following this news, members of Team Sesah made efforts to appeal on behalf of the good students who reside there to find a better way of negotiating with the management of the hostel as part of Team Sesah’s efforts to help students of the university.
Following the visit by team Sesah, the management has in a letter yesterday clarified that only members on Freddie's block are to come for their belongings as the “Freddie's Block” will be undergoing a renovation and demolition exercise. Students who are still in the block will be relocated to new places and the belongings of the students in Freddie's upon request will equally be relocated.
All other students at Evandy can decide whether or not to come for their belongings. It is however not compulsory.

According to members of Team Sesah, The hostel management reiterated that no student was being forced to evacuate and that students items were safe.

Attached is the letter to the Dean(13th May,  2020) and the new letter from Management of Evandy Hostel.
