It was discovered that on the 15th of this month a letter addressed to the office of the Dean of Students arriving from the management of Ultimate Hostel (Evandy). In this said letter which has copies circulating on various news platforms of students of KNUST, the management of the hostel were seeking permission from the Dean of Students to evict the belongings of students who reside at the hostel with an excuse that the hostel was undergoing some massive renovation exercises

According to our investigations, the said letter was submitted to the Dean awaiting approval. In the period after the submission, the office of the Dean of Students affairs has been in active engagements with the hostel management trying to find an equal footing as these circumstances which we find ourselves are not that of the ordinary. It was within this period that members of Team Sesah placed a courtesy call on the management of the hostel to arrive at a good and substantive conclusion with students' interest at heart.

In the end, management of Ultimate hostel came out with their resolutions this morning citing Team Sesah in their letter addressed to the general public. We wish to assure all students that true to the release from the hostel all their belongings are in good hands and safe.

The affected students have been contacted by the hostel management accordingly

Below are the letters which are in circulation.
