Ben-Carl Kwaku Dzorgbo the incumbent President of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and a strong aspirant in this year’s KNUST SRC Elections has been reported to literally pushing for a merger with his arc rival and a much more stronger candidate than himself.

An anonymous tip received by your most trusted media group on campus - The KNUST TigerEye Media Inc. indicates clearly that Master Ben-Carl Kwaku Dzorgbo posted a picture of himself with the mantra of Master Samuel Sesah which is “Defy the Odds” boldly written under the picture serving as a caption. This move however has generated some concerns from several political groups on campus bringing into question how little his political chances has grown.



This evidence surfaced just a while ago in the private mail of one of our reporters. The evidence at hand keeps on begging the question how small the chances of Ben-Carl grows each day.

The Intricacies of the KNUST Emblem You Never Knew of.

Attaining its stand as one of the most prestigious and renowned university in the African continent, and doubling as the best in West Africa as adjudged by the US News & World Report.  The institution has its emblem elements aesthetically chosen to depict and communicate the prime values and objectives of the university- Teaching, Research, and Services to humanity. The 68 year old university has six distinct elements. They are: a Pot of Fire, Callipers, a Golden Stool, an Eagle with outstretched wings, Green leaves, and a Slogan . Located in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana, the University Emblem has some of its elements portraying the traditional Ghanaian trait as poised in the core values of the university. KNUST SRC to launch its 60th Anniversary at Kumapley Auditorium this Saturday

The much awaited launch will take place at the Kumapley Auditorium (GESA Auditorium) on Saturday the 13th day of March exactly 10am. Speaking on Community Watch on Tuesday evening hosted by Raheem Awaafo, the KNUST SRC Financial Secretary Osei Fosu Solomon gave out details of the anniversary celebrations. He stated that the SRC is on course to making the event a memorable one as they have invited most of the past KNUST SRC Presidents making mention of notable ones such as Boakye Nyamekye Isaac (BNI), Samuel Amoako Kusi (SAK), Kelvin Sah (noted for the famous 22nd September 2018) and many others. He also promised the presence of many dignitaries such as past Vice Chancellors of the university.
