Alhassan Musah a CABESA Presidential Candidate Petitions the Dean and Provost of CABE over Dusty forecourt at the Art Faculty
Alhassan Musah a top contender for the presidential portfolio of the College of Art and Build Environment Students Association (CABESA) has taken a bold step in petitioning the Dean of the Art Society and Provost of the College of Art and Built Environment over the dusty nature of the forecourt at the Art Faculty.
His petition that has about 350 students from the society appending their signatures to it has been addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Art and the college provost. In the petition he pointed out that due to the dusty nature of the forecourt, it renders students dirty and unhygienic which make them feel shameful when walking into a different lecture halls that might be in a different portion of the school.
He stated that students complain about respiratory difficulties in windy periods since a lot of dust is blown into the atmosphere.
Not withstanding the dusty nature of the forecourt, it becomes worst in the raining season as the whole place turns to become muddy. He is therefore calling on the College Administration and all stakeholders to come to their aid by constructing pavements.
