An aspirant for the SCISA GENERAL SECRETARY ,  NANA AMA , has picked up nomination forms for the 2022 elections which come off on the 27th of July.   KNUST Holds ‘Akwaaba Night’ for International Students Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has held an interactive session dubbed ‘Akwaaba Night’ with International Students of KNUST on Friday, 1 st April 2022 at the Great Hall. The goal of this engagement was to provide warm Ghanaian hospitality to overseas students while also allowing management to hear about the obstacles and opportunities that such connections present. KNUST SRC President Master Michael Abuah has delivered an acceptance speech to students of KNUST after his successful ascension to the high office some months after he won the election  In his speech, he hinted that the the administration he will lead will focus entirely on Value Addition, Inclusive Governance, Safe and Stimulating Environment for Academic and Social Discourse and Legacy Projects. He also made mention of the fact that through many strategies and tactics which will be known to students in the coming days his administration is poised for action and results “I understand many would have wished for me to give a long speech but I’ve rather learnt leadership the honest way that the best of speeches wouldn’t make us the best of administrations”

The Commonwealth Hall JCR has issued a 7 page petition addressed to the Management Committee investigating the rigging and irregularities of the 2021 SRC Elections.  The petition highlights many issues which, according to them, are improper and cannot be overlooked. They also called for an annulment of the results of some polling stations.  Their petition adds to a long list of petitions on the 2021 University of Ghana SRC Elections calling for anulment and/or re-voting in some polling stations.
