SRC TRATECH has Launched Startup School at Conference

The tratech startup school conference was a two day program held on Friday 26th March and Saturday 27th March at the Dean Of students conference Hall Tratech was formed by great leaders way back in about two decades ago to train young entrepreneurs and nurture their ideas into a fruitful Enterprise. The theme for the TRATECH 2021 was unveiled by the commissioner as “ Festival Of Ideas, Trade and Innovation”.  The chair for the program was the founder of TRATECH and the former Ashanti regional Minister, Mr Andy Okran. He occupied the high table with the western regional Minister Honourable Dr Kwabena Okyere and the patron Mr Makafui Kodzo SRC TRATECH Chairperson Displaying an innovation  They all gave presentations on how to build, sustain and support your business and nurture your ideas to become a real enterprise. The KNUST SRC Electoral Commissioner, Master Obeng Emmanuel Awuah Gyimah has tabled the second edition of the most popular Leadership Summit for this Saturday at the Faculty of Law Auditorium Speaking to our correspondent, the Honorable Electoral Commissioner revealed his plans for the Samuel Sesah led administration reiterating the fact that his office is poised to conduct a free and fair elections and as such all relevant stakeholders needs to be prepared adequately for the task ahead Obeng Emmanuel Awuah Gyimah, KNUST SRC EC He stated that the program will be facilitated by top persons who have gone through many stages of leadership and have the “know how” when it comes to leadership. Knust Obuasi Campus to embark on a "MASS REGISTRATION"

Leadership of the KNUST Obuasi campus has announced that their outfit will engage in a mass registration of passports, birth certificates and TIN The President engaging in a press conference stated that for a student who would want to register for a passport, the person is required to have a biometric birth certificate, the Ghana card, a voters ID, Tin, students ID and school results. The applicant would be able to aquire his/her passport within one month after registration and processing.  The requirement for the birth certificate is just the personal information of the applicant being full name, name of parents among the many personal questions asked regularly. Also then Tin, an applicant would require a student ID and the Ghana card to generate a unique number. President of KNUST Obuasi campus set to address students this Friday

The President for KNUST Obuasi campus master Joshua Ntim-Gyimah has announced a maiden address to students which will happen this Friday. The leadership of the KNUST Obuasi campus will be meeting all representatives of all hostels and classes at the Hanger hall on 26th March exactly 5pm. The Obuasi campus SRC scheduled this meeting to take place once every month to aid the president, Master Joshua Ntim-Yeboah sit with class and hostel representatives to listen to the complaints and suggestions of the whole student body through their representatives. This initiative is to enable the student leadership get to know what is actually the issues of the students and provide possible solutions to them which have yielded some results since it started. CEO of Blakbod Organizes BOOT-CAMP for selected students

Participants in a group photograph with Benedicta  KNUST I.T protege who  won campus business pitch and also among the top 20 presidential pitch participants organizes I.T bootcamp for selected students at the KNUST incubator facility  Speaking in an interview with the IT genius, he reiterated the fact that it has become a necessity to inculcate technology in our everyday academic lives. He however commented on enabling startups to support the SONSOL project initiated by the vice chancellor in his view which is a life long project beyond the term of the Vice Chancellor. He also commented that the SONSOL project organized by the vice chancellor enabled most students who participated to have an interactive session at the program The selected students are being trained in various I.T areas as well as financial management  and business development.
