TekBrief: Checkout New Promotions of Lecturers in the Various Departments .

As tradition mandate in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to have faculties, friends and families gather and celebrate the achievement of significant career milestone of been promoted to Professorship as well as Assoc. Professorship. This however wasn't felt physically this time around due to the COVID-19 protocols. Regardless, about 58 members of the university staff have been formally recognised as Professors and Assoc. Professors based on merits and their significant contributions to their various departments, faculties, colleges and the University as a whole. Congratulation to the new Professors for earning this national cum international recognition as well as the Assoc. Professors for an authority in their field, but have not earned the notoriety of a full professor, we hope their continuous effort and hardwork will land them as top notch Professors few years to come. The Intricacies of the KNUST Emblem You Never Knew of.

Attaining its stand as one of the most prestigious and renowned university in the African continent, and doubling as the best in West Africa as adjudged by the US News & World Report.  The institution has its emblem elements aesthetically chosen to depict and communicate the prime values and objectives of the university- Teaching, Research, and Services to humanity. The 68 year old university has six distinct elements. They are: a Pot of Fire, Callipers, a Golden Stool, an Eagle with outstretched wings, Green leaves, and a Slogan . Located in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana, the University Emblem has some of its elements portraying the traditional Ghanaian trait as poised in the core values of the university. Reverend Professor William Obeng-Denteh has been approved as a Chartered Mathematician by the Chartered Mathematician Panel of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications in the United Kingdom. The Chartered Mathematician (CMath) title represents a high level of professionalism and competence in mathematics. The honour was conferred on him in recognition of his immense skills, values, expertise and commitment to advancing knowledge in mathematics and its applications.  The Institute of Mathematics and its Application (IMA) exists to support the advancement of mathematical knowledge and its applications to promote and enhance mathematical culture in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, for the public good. KNUST Receives Donations of Educational Materials from Tuskegee University In US.

The Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine (TUCVM), in Alabama USA, has donated over four hundred and fifty books (450), teaching slides and other instructional materials to the School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) of the, College of Health sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. The Dean of SVM, Professor Benjamin Obukowho Emikpe who received the items on behalf of the school appreciated Management of TUCVM for honouring their request of providing teaching and learning materials for the school.  He mentioned that the books donated will be of great benefit to both students and faculty. KNUST Commemorates World Statistics Day And International Year Of Women In Statistics And Data Sciences

The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has on the 28th of October, 2020 hosted a symposium to commemorate World Statistics Day and International Year of Women in Statistics and Data Science sponsored by International Statistical Institute. The symposium dubbed “Connecting the World with Data we can Trust” was held at the Allotey Auditorium, KNUST. Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, KNUST Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo, the Pro-Vice Chancellor in his welcome address, indicated that since the outbreak of COVID-19, the information received from world statisticians regarding the pandemic are science and data, hence, it is imperative for the world to rely on trusted and available data. Popular "Nana Ama's" Boyfriend, Sammy Auditions for TV3 Date Rush.

Popular KNUST Student,  Samuel Aboagye A.K.A Double of the "Nana Ama Why" fame has resurfaced in the news again after he cried and begged one Nana Ama in an audio to accept him back, admitting that he made a mistake.  However, the estranged gentleman couldn't secure his position back as Nana Ama's boyfriend after many pleas from him proved futile. Mr. "Double" after the said incident got donations from companies such as Bel Beverages as well as consolation messages from several celebrities through their social media platforms, with others promising him of food items and better alternatives instead of traumatizing his mind.  Sammy is trending and buzzing social media once again, but this time not for a lost but he is rather looking for replacement for Nana Ama.  Ace Ghanaian Poet Afrika, Releases first Single Poem, "Excuse Me" from his Upcoming Poetry Album, Titled the "Titan".

Multiple times award winning writer cum spoken word artist, Mr. Enock Kofi Arkoh aka Afrika has once again released an apposite peom titled, "Excuse Me". The poem which is the first single of his upcoming poetry album, the "Titan" delineates the presumptuous notion of mankind.  With a sensuous male voice, and famed for his prowess as a wordsmith. The poem sees him dissects his own experiences of how people ignorantly create a standard and based their assertions of ones life on those standards as apt. Tackling everyday lifehacks such as motivational and uplifting. Afrika says " I did not come here to please you, I came here to please God.
