TEAM ABUAH GOES ROWDY, CAMPAIGN MANAGER STABS STUDENT

In what appeared to be a heated tassel, the manager of one of the leaders in this year's SRC Presidential Race, Michael Abuah stabbed a Katanga Student.

The unfortunate incident took place at the Great Hall, KNUST. At about the late hours of Saturday, 3rd July, 2021, hundreds of Katanagees stormed the Great Hall in a bid to throw weight behind their endorsed candidates. A group of people, supposedly supporters of Michael Abuah tried to stop them from entering the Great Hall.

The Manager of Michael Abuah, Joshua Budu led the group to block the Katanagees. In the heat of the moment, Joshua Budu, the manager of team ABUAH broke a bottle and stabbed a Katanga Student (name withheld for now) in the rib.

Reports indicate that Joshua Budu also got injured in the process. Other reports indicate that other people from team ABUAH pulled out knives and threatened some other Katanga Students. For some few minutes, there was so much tension and quite a number of students sustained minor injuries.

The issue has since been reported to KNUST security and the police also swiftly arrived at the scene. The said student is currently receiving medical attention. Say a prayer for this poor student whose only crime was coming out to support his preferred candidate.

Let's together entreat everyone to ensure peace and sanity prevail in this year's SRC Elections.

Long Live the SRC

Long Live KNUST
