Katanga Activism Wing embarks on a project to fight Global Warming

A group of visionary Katangees came together and formed a group consisting of elite students who share a common goal to impact KNUST and Ghana as a whole. These students birthed the Katanga Activism Wing to tackle issues that are pressing in our society.

As part of this effort, the Wing donated dustbins to the University Hall on 9th July 2021 for recycling purposes as part of the militant excursion in the fight against global warming and climate change.

The donation was done on behalf of the Wing by its president Mr. Osei Derrick Asare and other executives with some members, notable of all Master Jude Sabutey the SRC presidential aspirant in this year's SRC race. The dustbins were received by the University Hall president Mr.Edmund Kwaku Boateng on behalf of the Hall in line with the precepts of positive dynamism and solidarity.

The initiative was applauded and we'll received by the University Hall president and other members of the JCR.
