Boakye-Dankwah Asare provides security tips during the mid-semester examinations.


Mr. Boakye-Dankwah Asare has today in a public release provided students with some safety tips during the mid semester examination period as students study late into the night. 

In his release, he admonished students to take notice of the pointers he has put together as they would be of immense help to them in this period of exams.

📌 Make sure you have your student’s ID card on you to guarantee your access to the Exam Hall.

📌 Be sure you have your own Pencils, Pens, erasers. You may not be allowed to borrow one at the Exam centre.

📌 Make efforts to secure your room before you leave for the Exam Hall, unscrupulous people are always on the move in these heated times. 

📌 Double check the Exam time table to be extra sure of your Exam date and their respective centers. 

📌 Covid-19 is real. Adherence to the protocols is key. Do not risk for Covid in this heated period of exams. 

He added that students who face security challenges should contact the university security officers on 050 134 7350 and 050 134 7352. In addition, he provided some Tips from the University Security to Complement what he issued as: 

⚠️ Don’t send electronic gadgets and valuables to Exams Centres.

⚠️ Avoid use of dark places and footpaths.

⚠️ Move in pairs or in groups during the night.

⚠️ Avoid talking to strangers.

⚠️ Avoid the use of earphones in dark places.

⚠️ Don’t leave electronic gadgets and bags in anyone’s care.

⚠️ Always lock your room doors.
