Samuel Sesah stands tall as Rexford Bonney has been dropped from SRC Presidency Race

One of the four presidential candidates in this year’s  Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Students Representative Council elections, Bonney Rexford Joseph, has been disqualified from contesting.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the KNUST Interim SRC Electoral commission, Andrews Anokye indicated that the decision was as a result of the rustication of Rexford Bonney from the school on the basis of misconduct. This however gives Samuel Sesah the nod over the other remaining candidates to win the election at an easy pace.

“From the forgoing, he cannot carry himself as a candidate in the upcoming SRC election,” the statement noted.

All other 12 candidates contesting for various executive portfolios still remain in the race.

The SRC election, scheduled to be held ON 28th January, 2021 will have three persons vying for the office of the President, two for General Secretary, four contesting for Treasurer and three in the Women’s Commissioner race.
