PICTURES: KNUST SRC’s Advocacy for Better Off-Campus Roads Yield Results

In the early days of the Master Adu-Baah Charles’s administration, he honored one of his campaign promises to fix the off-campus roads as he stated in his manifesto prior to him emerging as the winner in the 2018 polls. He petitioned the Oforikrom member of parliament Dr. Emmanuel Marfo together with his executives for the roads to be fixed.

The Honorable member of parliament Dr. Emmanuel Marfo assured Master Adu-Baah Charles and his executives that he will make sure that their grievances are attended to. However in the early hours of April 21st, work began on the roads just a day after the lockdown was lifted.

This has been one of ABC’s greatest achievements as KNUST SRC President. The shape of the roads have always been a major issue for students to gobble down their throat however students would appreciate the efforts of the SRC in putting them first and advocating for their interest.
