Student-Assembly Member for Ejisu Municipality Embarks on an Outreach with Sheila's World

Sheila's World Outreach in collaboration with Honourable Klinsman Kakari Mensah a final year KNUST student and currently the Assembly Man of Onwe District has embarked on a generous donation last Friday.

The two parties that came together donated books to a deprived school in Onwe called Onwe M/A primary school on the 14th of February 2020. The school after a warm welcome gesture accepted the Honorable assembly member and Sheila's World Outreach to make their visit a success. In addressing the crowd gathered, representatives from Sheila's World Outreach states that they believe touching the educational sector will make the children have hopes, placing a smile on the kids face will go a long way in putting hopes in their minds.

Attaining its stand as one of the most prestigious and renowned university in the African continent, and doubling as the best in West Africa as adjudged by the US News & World Report.  The institution has its emblem elements aesthetically chosen to depict and communicate the prime values and objectives of the university- Teaching, Research, and Services to humanity. The 68 year old university has six distinct elements. They are: a Pot of Fire, Callipers, a Golden Stool, an Eagle with outstretched wings, Green leaves, and a Slogan . Located in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana, the University Emblem has some of its elements portraying the traditional Ghanaian trait as poised in the core values of the university. KNUST SRC to launch its 60th Anniversary at Kumapley Auditorium this Saturday

The much awaited launch will take place at the Kumapley Auditorium (GESA Auditorium) on Saturday the 13th day of March exactly 10am. Speaking on Community Watch on Tuesday evening hosted by Raheem Awaafo, the KNUST SRC Financial Secretary Osei Fosu Solomon gave out details of the anniversary celebrations. He stated that the SRC is on course to making the event a memorable one as they have invited most of the past KNUST SRC Presidents making mention of notable ones such as Boakye Nyamekye Isaac (BNI), Samuel Amoako Kusi (SAK), Kelvin Sah (noted for the famous 22nd September 2018) and many others. He also promised the presence of many dignitaries such as past Vice Chancellors of the university.
