Obiri Yeboah Samuel Announces his intentions to run for CoHSS Presidency

The KNUST SRC Head of Envoy, Master Samuel Obiri Yeboah has today declared his good intentions for the College of Humanities and Social  Sciences (CoHSS) through an interview with the KNUST TigerEye Media Inc. to contest for the position of the College President.

Speaking with one of our colleagues, the current SRC Head of envoy and a second year Political Science student who minors in English, Master Samuel Obiri Yeboah reiterated that his aim is to leave a blueprint of good leadership worth emulating in order to build a strong and better College of Humanities and Social  Sciences (CoHSS). He then was questioned on what his mantra will be which he gave us “The Blueprint”. When he was asked further questions on the mantra, he stated categorically that in due time he will issue a communique on why this choice of mantra.

Speaking about himself, he mentioned that he’s an old student of the Kumasi Anglican senior high school where he read General arts. He made mention of several leadership portfolios which included;

★ SRC Presidential Envoy - KNUST 2019/20
★ Class Rep English and Political Science 2018-
★ SRC Vice President (Super KASS 2016/17)
★ Executive at Ashanti Regional SRC - ARSRC 2016/17
★ SRC EWP 2015/16
★ Literary group executive 2015/16

The zealous aspirant answered a question on why he chose to vie for the CoHSS Presidency as “to build a strong and better CoHSS where students issues are prioritized over interests of executives”. He ended the interview by stating that from this day forward, he is an aspirant in answering the question of who takes over the CoHSS Presidency from the incumbent President - His Excellency Ben-Carl Kwaku Dzogbo
