KNUST Student Steps Down from Parliamentary Primaries

Awuah Joseph popularly known as - AJ who aspired for the office of the president in the Faculty of Social Sciences last semester but lost has hanged up his boots in national politics this year. He’s a final year BA Sociology student.

Owning from the Juaboso Constituency on the ticket of the ruling NPP, he stepped down citing reasons that the Juaboso Constituency is one of the famed constituencies in Ghana and that the forenamed constituency is confessed to be the leading producer of Cocoa and other Natural resources that serves AS a source of Revenue to the Government. For this very reason and the pivotal roles his cherished constituency plays as far as the development of Ghana is concerned, they deserve to benefit a lot to establish a good road Network, benefit from Health Policies and other infrastructural plans been distributed in the country.

In an interview with the KNUST TigerEye Media Inc. he stated that his reason for ceasing out from the rivalry was basically about his academics and also considering being a final Year Student who has to pay attention to his books and project works. “I still have this avidity at heart that on any day after school, I will pick up a form and contest for the Member of Parliament position for the Juaboso consistency to make it a refined place for the general folks to live” he concluded.
