FAST FORWARD
This year’s TekTalk was the 5th Anniversary of TekTalk, an empowerment program which was initiated by Boakye Nyamekye Isaac (BNI), KNUST SRC President in 2015 since then the program has been adopted and repeated for the subsequent years. Last year’s edition was graced by Former President Jerry John Rawlings and media star Nana Aba Anamoah.

This year’s edition however with all its expectations turned out to be something different that no one dreamt of. The program totally flopped which caused a lot of mixed feelings with a section of the students raising several allegations against the organizers for such a poor service done. Some also made mention of some huge sums of amounts that went into it. It all started as non of the guest speakers showed up for the program including the Honorable Minister for information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and media guru Kwame Sefa Kayi. This caused for the organizers to make late provisions to fit the occasion however students didn’t appreciate the gesture.
