The New Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson has pledged to roll out a policy to support needy students in the university during her address to the university community. The College of Art and Built Environment Students Association (CABESA) has officially announced its maiden virtual awards program which will be held to recognise the efforts of hard working students and staffs in the youngest college of KNUST. In an official WhatsApp communique spotted by the KNUST TigerEye Media Inc. Stated that, the said awards program would be held to climax the services of the 2019/2020 CABESA executive board to the college. Following current media reports concerning the murder of a Taxi driver by a final year student of KNUST. The management of the Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science and Technology has in a press release debunked the conformity of the said report alleging Mr Emmanuel Awuah as a student of the university. In a one page letter, signed by the University Relation Officer (URO) of the University, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, clearly stated that the said victim did not register for the first and second semester of the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic year nether did he defer nor indicated any reason(s) for abandoning his programme of study in the university. And therefore pursuant to that any student who abandons his course of study for one full academic year without any cause ceases to be a student of the university. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, has on the  10th of July 2020 recommissioned the refurbished Singh Guest House near Hale and Hearty Gym Complex to be under the management of International Programmes  Office [IPO] KNUST. This brings to two Guest Houses to be managed by the IPO. The Singh Guest House is set in a very serene and salubrious environment.
